What is Accreditation? And Why.

Accreditation is a process of review that allows healthcare organizations to demonstrate their ability to meet regulatory requirements and standards established by a recognized accreditation organization such as ACHC. Accreditation reflects an agency’s dedication and commitment to meeting standards that demonstrate a higher level of performance and patient care. ACHC Accreditation Standards were created by industry experts with providers’ needs in mind.

HHCAHPS (Home Health Care Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems)

 

Survey is the first national standardized and publicly reported survey of home health care patients’ perspectives of their skilled home care.

ULTIMATE HOME HEALTH participates in this national survey because patient perspective and perception of care matters! we pride ourselves in seeking this Star Rating and its process. 

 

Preliminary Patient Perception is:           Care of Patients 96%  (National Average: 88%)

            April 2021                                   Communication: 92%  (National Average: 83%)

                                                               Specific Care Issues: 91% (National Average: 76%)

                                                               Likelihood of Recommending: 93% (National Average: 83%)

                                                               Overall Rating of Care: 96% (National Average: 85%)
